All U9 - U12 Plymouth City Soccer teams play “travel” soccer against other local Clubs in the Western Suburban Soccer League (WSSL) The WSSL provides two different soccer leagues for each age division – Recreational and Select The Recreational League gives no consideration to a player’s ability, meaning if you register your child, you will be placed on a team (No Tryouts) The Select League consist of teams formed via tryouts. Select tends to be more competitive, as Select teams are composed of players selected for their playing ability (Tryouts) Below is the Select Soccer Tryout Schedule for the Fall 2026 / Spring 2027 Soccer Year. Most coaches have also created flyers, which are also below, providing additional information, including Open Practices, which may be beneficial if you are on the fence about having your child play Select or not.
