Hydrant Flushing
Annual hydrant flushing and testing is happening this month!

You might experience brief low water pressure or discolored water. If this occurs, run your cold water for several minutes to clear your lines. The discoloration is due to stirred-up natural minerals and the water remains safe to drink at all times.

Construction Updates

Please be aware of several upcoming road and rail construction projects that may impact your commute in and around the Plymouth community.  The schedule of work is subject to change as a result of weather, crew availability, materials, and equipment.

CSX Railroad Closures
CSX will be conducting repairs at several crossings. Each closure is a full closure for one week. The schedule is subject to change.

Starkweather Road: Started Monday, October 13th, 2025.

Mill Road: Starts Monday, October 20th, 2025.

Mayflower Building: Roofing Project Update West Ann Arbor Trail is closed as of last Wednesday as roofing started on the north side of the Mayflower Building. Southbound South Main is now open.
 Restrictions:
- No public parking on West Ann Arbor Trail or in the Mayflower Center alleyway.
-Sidewalks and parking lots around the Mayflower building are closed to the public during the project.
The project should take approximately 6 weeks to complete, weather permitting. Closures are anticipated to be in place Monday through Thursday during the project. Roads will be open every Thursday evening through Monday morning.

Below is a guide to voting options and deadlines for the upcoming November 4th Election in the City of Plymouth.

Absentee Ballot Deadlines
If you plan to vote by absentee ballot, please adhere to the following strict deadlines:
How to Receive Your Ballot  Deadline  Location
 By Mail Return your Absentee Ballot Application by 5:00 PM on October 31st.   City Hall
 In-Person  Pick up your ballot at City Hall by 4:00 PM on November 3rd.  City Hall

City Clerk Office Hours: Available Saturday, November 1
The City Clerk's office will also be open Saturday, November 1 from 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Election Day Voting
If you miss the absentee ballot deadlines or prefer to vote in person:
Date: Tuesday, November 4th
Time: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Location: Plymouth Cultural Center (All polling locations will be consolidated here)

City of Plymouth Police Chief Al Cox announced that trick-or-treating hours for the City will be from 5:30pm to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025.Trick-or-treaters are reminded to follow safety rules when crossing streets and only approach houses where porch lights are lit.
