The City of Plymouth Recreation Department and mParks are offering a 4-day, 3-night trip to Mackinac Island's Grand Hotel from October 19-22, 2025. This "Grand Experience" is designed for travelers 50+, with those under 50 welcome to accompany an older relative or friend. Don't miss this unforgettable adventure!
City Updates & Services:
Arbor Day Program: Free Trees for City of Plymouth Residents
- Free Trees for Residents: The City of Plymouth, in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, offers free trees to residents for planting on their property through the Community Canopy Program.
- Limited Availability: The program is limited to 140 trees, so residents should order early.
- Online Ordering: Residents select their tree and planting location using an online mapping tool.
- Planting and Care: Residents must plant their tree promptly and water it regularly, following the provided schedule.
- Delivery Options:
- Direct Ship: Trees are delivered via USPS in May or June 2025.
- Pickup: Larger trees are available for pickup at the Department of Municipal Services (DMS) office on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to Noon.
