Join the 2026 Fall Bug Hunt

Ever wonder what lives in the river besides fish and turtles? Join Friends of the Rouge for the 2026 Fall Bug Hunt and help search for aquatic insects, crayfish, snails, clams and other creatures that make up the bottom of the river food chain. What volunteers find — or don’t find — provides valuable information about water quality and habitat throughout the Rouge watershed. Fall Bug Hunt

650 Church St., Plymouth

No prior experience is needed, but registration is required and remains open until full. Children ages 8 and older are welcome when accompanied by a participating adult, and groups of six or fewer may register together. Fall Bug Hunt
